Waiting for school to open
Yannis is an autistic child whose school remained closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic. This has negatively affected his daily life, as the development of his skills depends on a steady schedule and school activities. We learned how Ada Stamatatou, Yanni’s mother and autism activist, tried to keep his program “alive” during the lockdown, waiting for the school to reopen.
